Photo resources

I mentioned in the video a few different internet and photo resources for editing your pictures, and I wanted to include links to them here:

Shutterfly Studio is a FREE program to download your computer and create collages out of your photos. Many times, just to make printing easy, I use one of their premade templates and drag & drop my photos into it. Once I do that, I can select a color for the edges (I usually do black or white, but they have a rainbow of color choices!) and then just print on a 4x6 or 5x7 piece of photo paper. It keeps me from wasting a lot of my paper- I can consolidate 4 wallet sized photos to one 4x6 piece of paper.

*A note with Shutterfly Studio- one you are done with your collage, you will need to first save it, THEN export it to where you store you photos on your computer. Saving it keeps it within the program, and you can't access it from anywhere else on your computer until you export it. Once you do that, you can print from home or upload it to anywhere you usually print your photos.

Picnik is a FUN, free site that gives you Photoshop results with one or two clicks. You don't even need to create an account with them to start uploading pictures and editing them. Have fun playing there, but be forwarned- you WILL get sucked in! :)

Places you can upload photos and get them mailed to you:
(These also have border/edge options)

Shutterfly
Winkflash
Snapfish

These all usually offer some sort of deal when you are a new user with them... free 20, 30, or more photo prints are usually the offer. They also have cheap deals like .06 prints sometimes.

For you Photoshop junkies, here are some of the actions & brushes I used on my photos in this album:
